The 9th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2025 witnessed an extraordinary third showcase at Marwah Studios, setting a new benchmark for creativity, cultural storytelling, and artistic collaboration. With participation from over 80 countries, the event highlighted the power of fashion as a global language. A total of 550 designer garments, 125 bespoke furniture pieces, 6 curated exhibitions, and the work of 250 talented designers came together in an immersive celebration of design and expression. Backed by the dedication of more than 500 professionals and students who worked tirelessly for over two months, the event was a true testament to global unity through art.

Festival President Dr. Sandeep Marwah, also the visionary behind Noida Film City, expressed pride in the event’s evolution, stating that it goes far beyond the runway, serving as a tribute to heritage, creativity, and freedom of expression. The event’s significance was further elevated by the presence of prominent industry voices, including Ankit Jain, Anuj Chabhra, Supriya Munshi, Kaushik Ghosh, and Kirti Mishra Naran, whose insights added depth to the occasion.

A standout moment of the evening was the launch of “Fashion as an Art”, a coffee table book authored by Ms. Ishaani Duggal, which explores the role of fashion as both cultural identity and visual storytelling. On the runway, the spotlight was on students from the AAFT School of Fashion and Design, who presented spectacular country-themed collections. From high fashion for Slovakia to haute couture inspired by Morocco, and traditional wear from Serbia to street fashion from the USA, each collection was rooted in cultural authenticity and modern design sensibility. The show concluded with a stunning Indian traditional wear segment that left the audience in awe.

More than just a fashion show, the event transformed the runway into a canvas of global culture and local talent. With every design, the spirit of innovation and international connection was felt deeply, reinforcing AAFT’s Global Fashion and Design Week as one of the most dynamic and impactful platforms in the fashion education space.
