A shocking case has emerged from Greater Noida West, where a resident has accused a local builder of fraud and intimidation after cancelling a flat booking, despite receiving a substantial advance payment.
Flat Booked in 2021, Later Cancelled Without Notice

Deepak Sharma, a resident of Sector 16B, alleged that in 2021, his father booked a flat in a BS Builders project by paying Rs 12.98 lakh through a cheque. While the buyer’s side signed the agreement, the builder reportedly failed to complete the documentation from their end. The family later found out, without any prior notification, that the flat booking had been cancelled.
FIR Registered Against Builder and Associates

Acting on court orders, Bisrakh Police have registered an FIR against five individuals, including a director of the builder firm. The accused, identified as Rakesh Ranjan, Abhishek Jaiswal, Vishal, Shashank, and others, allegedly collected the payment under the guise of selling a flat and failed to deliver the property or return the money, effectively misappropriating the amount.
Buyers Allegedly Held Hostage and Assaulted

In a disturbing turn of events, Deepak also claimed that when he and his father confronted the builder, they were held hostage and physically assaulted. Although they were released after informing the police, no immediate action was taken at the time.

Legal Action Underway

With no alternative, the family approached the court, which led to the FIR and an ongoing investigation. Authorities at the Bisrakh police station have confirmed that a detailed probe is being carried out and strict action will be taken against those found guilty.
